Pay for the cases you’re running.
Your first 2 active cases are free. €69 ex VAT a month covers up to 15, and each case after that costs less than the one before, so adding a case never makes your bill jump.
One price per lawyer, lower as your team grows.
Every lawyer gets 2 free questions a month to try it. A seat is €84.75 ex VAT a month, firms of 2 or more pay less for every seat, and paying yearly gets you 12 months for the price of 10.
What counts as an active case?
A case is active from the day you add it to Court Assistant until you close or remove it. Each day we count your active cases, and at the end of the month we bill on the average. If you track 40 cases for the first half of a month and 60 for the second half, you pay for 50.
How and when am I charged?
You add a card when you order, and payments are taken from it automatically. Research Assistant is charged in advance, at the start of each month or year. Court Assistant is billed in arrears, at the end of each month, for the month just gone.
What happens if a payment fails?
We let you know straight away so you can update your card. If the payment still hasn’t gone through after 2 days, access to your account is paused until it does. If nothing changes within 30 days, we send a final warning and then delete the account and its data.
Is there a free option?
Yes, on both tools and with no time limit. Research Assistant includes 2 free questions a month, and Court Assistant is free for up to 2 active cases.
Can I add or remove lawyers?
Yes, from your account whenever you need to, and the change shows on your next bill. Court Assistant is not priced per user, so your whole team can use it at no extra cost.
Do I need both tools?
No. Each tool works and is priced on its own, so you can use one or both.
Can I cancel?
Yes, at any time from your account. Monthly plans stop at the end of the month you’re in, and yearly plans run to the end of the year you’ve paid for. Court Assistant sends a final bill for the cases you tracked in your last month.
Are prices shown with VAT?
Prices are shown ex VAT unless you switch to incl. VAT at the top of the page. Maltese VAT at 18% is added to every invoice.
